Destination Wedding Photographer // Jana & Thomas NYC Engagement Session

YAY! One of my best friends is getting married! Jana and Thomas have been together for a looooonnngg time. I remember when they first started dating and she would tell me about this "hot guy Thomas" she had met and was excited whenever they were in a group setting together. Fast forward 7 years later and here we are. I love visiting New York and was lucky enough to photograph Jana and Thomas's actual engagement this spring where I hid in a bush in Central Park (yes, it's true!). I am so excited to attend their wedding as a guest next fall in Thomas's parents' backyard in St.Paul and even more excited to see what my amazing mentor/boss lady/friend Amanda Marie Studio creates for them when she's behind the lens.

Jana & Thomas wanted their session to show off their new neighborhood and life in New York. They have lived in a lot of places together, most recently moving from D.C. to New York this spring and before that spent a year together in Sweden. Thomas brews beer and works at the Anheuser-Busch headquarters in New York where we were lucky enough to catch a rooftop sunset.
