Portland Wedding Photographer // Margit & Morgan

It's pretty crazy looking back on this day and before. I couldn't wait to travel to Portland to shoot Margit & Morgan's wedding when they booked me and now here I am blogging it. How did time fly so fast!? Margit & Morgan met at Hamline University in St. Paul after being set up by a friend. After dating and finishing up college, they moved back to Morgan's home state of Oregon and both got jobs at Nike headquarters. A lot of their personalities came through in this wedding. Margit has strong Norwegian roots so they decided a Nordic cultural center would be the perfect place to be married. Margit and her mother wore Norwegian dresses called Bundas that were stunning. Since M&M both work at Nike, they had to have the best wedding party gifts I've ever seen-matching shoes of course! This day was filled with so many tears, laughter, one of the most high energy dance floors I've been a part of, and an epic sparkler exit to finish off the night. I visit Portland often to see family and I can't wait to go back soon-hopefully for some more work! Hi Portland brides!
